News and surprises for the fourth edition of the initiative \u201cA break with fruit: what good it does you!<\/strong>\u201d <\/em> of the\u2019OP Joinfruit <\/strong>of Verzuolo with the FAI-Castle of Manta<\/strong>: from 21 July to 6 August,<\/strong> every Friday, Saturday and Sunday,<\/strong> art and agriculture meet for three event weekends,<\/strong> designed to make the fruits of Piedmont's art and territory known and appreciated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne of the main objectives of our PO - <\/em>explains Bruno Sacchi, Director of Joinfruit<\/strong> \u2013 <\/em>is the valorisation of our producers, who strive every day to bring top-quality fruit into consumers\u2018 homes, respecting the territory and people's wellbeing. This initiative is doubly important for us, because it allows us to stimulate healthy eating habits in our community through the promotion of a conscious consumption of fresh seasonal fruit and, at the same time, it allows us to highlight the \u2019fruits\u201d of our farmers' labour, in a historical moment that is as complex as ever for the fruit and vegetable sector. We would like to thank FAI-Castello della Manta for this collaboration which, through the art-agriculture combination, aims to bring the people of our community closer to the unique heritage that is fruit, a source of health for people and a symbol of the commitment and passion of our producers.\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And taking the stage for three consecutive weekends at Castello della Manta will be precisely the fruit: all visitors wishing to stop for a moment of relaxation in the castle garden on Saturday and Sunday<\/strong> (22 and 23 July, 29 and 30 July and 5 and 6 August) will receive complimentary<\/strong> a mixed pack of seasonal fresh fruit, which, depending on the season, will consist of apricots, peaches, plums, the very special Ramassin<\/strong>, (small, sweet plums grown in the Bronda Valley and recognised with the Slow Food Presidium) and fruit juices <\/strong>\u201cJoinfruit Fresh\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, <\/em>made exclusively from cold-pressed seasonal fresh fruit at 100%, a processing method that preserves the natural taste of the fruit as well as its valuable nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the evenings of Friday 28 July and Friday 4 August, from 7.30 p.m. to 11 p.m, <\/strong>within the programme of FAI Summer Evenings - Picnics at Sunset<\/strong>, the same delicious and fresh homage will still make more pleasant picnic time <\/strong>in the garden of the Castello della Manta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the surprises don't end there<\/strong>: the Joinfruit OP, in its commitment to highlighting the area's excellent products and promoting a healthy and correct diet, offers visitors to the Castello della Manta three different proposals for learning about and appreciating fruit in a different way.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
