{"id":5918,"date":"2021-03-15T14:08:00","date_gmt":"2021-03-15T14:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joinfruit.com\/?p=5918"},"modified":"2024-06-11T14:09:36","modified_gmt":"2024-06-11T14:09:36","slug":"joinfruit-nuovo-accordo-di-commercializzazione-del-ramassin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joinfruit.com\/en\/2021\/03\/15\/joinfruit-nuovo-accordo-di-commercializzazione-del-ramassin\/","title":{"rendered":"Joinfruit's commitment to valuing the local area: New agreement for the commercialisation of Ramassin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New agreement between the\u2019<strong>O.P.<\/strong> <strong>Joinfruit<\/strong> and the <strong>Consorzio Ramassin del Monviso \u2013 Valle Bronda<\/strong> for the promotion and marketing of ramassin, a small blue-violet plum, Slow Food Presidium and excellence of the Saluzzo area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement has a dual objective: <strong>expand the market for this characteristic cultivation<\/strong> of the Bronda Valley and Po Valley area towards the large-scale retail sector and a wider consumer audience, and <strong>enhancing the territory<\/strong> through a targeted promotional campaign organised by the partners to the agreement, who will pay a minimum percentage to the Consortium (21% of sales) to further strengthen the region\u2019s development strategies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cornerstone of the agreement is the <strong>protection of producers<\/strong>, which will be guaranteed by <strong>Joinfruit<\/strong> of a commercial and pricing policy that ensures a profitable threshold: <em>\u201cOn the other hand<\/em> \u2013 underlines <strong>Bruno Sacchi, Director of Joinfruit<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Producers are the true guardians of the land and, as a Producer Organisation, it is our firm intention not to focus solely on quantities but on excellence, valuing the best our country has to offer, with a view to sustainability that is fair, inclusive and oriented towards the well-being of the entire supply chain, from the farmer to the consumer.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<em>The ramassin is a niche product that identifies a territory.<\/em> - adds <strong>Dario Morello, President of the Consortium<\/strong> which brings together producers from the municipalities of Brondello, Castellar, Pagno and the hilly part of Saluzzo <em>\u2013 sine<\/em> <em>Since our foundation in 2006, we have worked to support companies and products, with the aim of creating employment and safeguarding the specificity of this area: the synergy with Joinfruit allows us to give new life to this philosophy.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Joinfruit<\/strong> The marketing of ramassin will begin in July, with the processing of the product in the warehouses of one of the PO's partners. <strong>Ponso Agricultural Cooperative of Saluzzo<\/strong>, and the use of bespoke packaging to make it recognisable and identifiable with the region of origin, including through the presence of the Consortium's mark and the \u201cPresidio Slow Food\u201d logo. To give an even greater boost to territorial promotion, the <strong>Mayor of Saluzzo<\/strong>, <strong>Mauro Calderoni<\/strong>, who was present at the signing of the agreement, made the newly registered trademark available <strong>Terres Monviso<\/strong>, brand created to enhance the products of the Saluzzo district.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nuovo accordo tra l\u2019O.P.
