{"id":6177,"date":"2024-09-24T11:40:00","date_gmt":"2024-09-24T11:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joinfruit.com\/?p=6177"},"modified":"2024-10-15T11:50:48","modified_gmt":"2024-10-15T11:50:48","slug":"aop-piemonte-insieme-a-joinfruit-e-asprofrut-a-terra-madre-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joinfruit.com\/en\/2024\/09\/24\/aop-piemonte-insieme-a-joinfruit-e-asprofrut-a-terra-madre-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"AOP Piedmont, together with Joinfruit and Asprofrut, represents the fruit and vegetable sector in Piedmont at Terra Madre 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>From 26 to 30 September, AOP Piedmont, <\/strong>association that brings together the largest POs in Piedmont, including <strong>OP Joinfruit<\/strong> of Verzuolo and the Consortia for the valorisation and protection of the <strong>Cuneo IGP Red Apple<\/strong>, of the <strong>Cuneo IGP chestnut<\/strong> and the <strong>Piedmont Hazelnut<\/strong>, will participate in the fifteenth edition of <strong>Terra Madre Salone del Gusto<\/strong> in Turin, Slow Food's international event dedicated to food and food policies, which this year will revolve around the theme of <strong>relationship with nature through food.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AOP Piedmont, together with Joinfruit and Asprofrut and the Consorzi di tutela, <strong>will represent the Piedmontese fruit and vegetable sector<\/strong> inside the institutional stand of the <strong>Piedmont Region<\/strong>, with meetings dedicated to the promotion and enhancement of regional excellence.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In particular, the two POs will be involved in events promoting the <strong>Cuneo IGP Red Apple<\/strong>: <strong>Friday 27 September at 3:00 PM<\/strong>, within the meeting <em>\u201cThe DOP and IGP treasures of Piedmont: Gorgonzola and Red Apple from Cuneo<\/em>\u201d, <strong>Carlo Manzo, representing AOP Piedmont<\/strong>, will illustrate the characteristics that make the Cuneo Red Apple unique, while participants will have the opportunity to taste it with gorgonzola and Brachetto (Grape variety of the year 2024 for the Piedmont Region), for an original and unconventional taste experience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Saturday 28 September at 14:00<\/strong> It will be the turn <strong>of the OP Joinfruit<\/strong>: within the meeting <em>\u201cThe DOP and IGP treasures of Piedmont: Piedmont Salami and Cuneo Red Apple<\/em>\u201dthe\" <strong>director Bruno Sacchi<\/strong> will accompany participants in tasting these two regional delicacies, recounting the history and peculiarities of Mela Rossa Cuneo.\u201c<em>We want to convey to people the story behind every fruit we produce.<\/em> \u2013 comments Sacchi \u2013 <em>emphasising the enormous commitment our producers make to their daily relationship with the Earth, cultivating \u2018good, clean and fair\u2019 products, of which the Cuneo Red Apple PGI is a splendid example.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the duration of the event, visitors to the AOP Piemonte area will also have the opportunity to sample the <strong>\u201cJoinfruit Fresh\u201d red apple juice<\/strong>, made exclusively with freshly cold-pressed fruit, a processing method (HPP -
