From 7 to 10 August, fruit takes on new colours and flavours with Fresh Fruit Fusion, a journey to discover art, wellness and new ways to enjoy summer fruit, promoted From the OP Joinfruit of Verzuolo to the Castle of Manta
To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the initiative “A break with fruit: what good it does you!” of the’OP Joinfruit of Verzuolo with the FAI-Castle of Manta, arrives Fresh Fruit Fusion: 7 to 10 August, 5.30 p.m. to 8 p.m., four event afternoons to experience a tasty mix of art, nutrition education, wellness culture and fruit-based mixology.
The palm garden, the old green space of the Manta Castle, will host Joinfruit's summer offering: a fresh non-alcoholic fruit aperitif to be enjoyed while sitting comfortably in the shade of umbrellas or palm trees.
To accompany the participants in this experience, A team of local nutritionists will be present which will explain all the benefits and the properties of summer fruit, as well as our peculiarities freshly squeezed fruit juices “Joinfruit Fresh”, made exclusively from cold-pressed fresh fruit at 100%, a processing method (HPP- High Pressure Processing) that preserves the natural taste of the fruit as well as its valuable nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. In addition, A skilled bartender will entertain the participants with a show-drinking, preparing non-alcoholic cocktails based on fresh fruit, and offering tasty ideas for enjoying fruit in a different way than usual: the experience will conclude with the visit to the Castle, which will have a particular focus on the fruit plants and trees in the baronial hall.
The aim of the initiative, made possible thanks to the contribution of the European Union, is to promote conscious consumption of seasonal fresh fruit and, at the same time, to celebrate the fruits of Piedmontese art and territory, bringing people closer to the artistic and productive heritage that characterises this area of Piedmont, a richness that deserves to be tasted and appreciated.

To make the aperitif even more pleasant, and to give participants a true “fusion” experience combining art, history and culinary delights of the territory, the San Giorgio Salumi will take part in the initiative, offering some tasters of its products, prepared in full respect of Piedmontese tradition.
Below are the programme details by Fresh Fruit Fusion:
- 5.30 p.m.: arrival in the Palm Garden and presentation of the project by Joinfruit
- 6:00 PM: drinks demonstration with participation from the bartender and the team of nutritionists
- 6:30 PM: Aperitif begins with a brief tour of the Castle
- 8 pm: Closing of the evening
