From 15 July, Joinfruit Fresh, Italy's first “farmer - consumer” short supply chain project through the use of refrigerated smart lockers latest generation, is enriched by an exceptional partner, La Granda Srl, leader in the promotion of the Piedmontese breed (Slow Food Presidium).
L’OP Joinfruit of Verzuolo (CN) launched in Cuneo in October 2021, the project JOINFRUIT FRESH, or a cutting-edge sales channel that combines technological innovation, sustainability and consumer peace of mind because it offers the opportunity to buy directly from farmers high-quality, fresh fruit, vegetables and local produce, packaged in strictly recyclable packaging at the time of order and delivered to the refrigerated Smart Locker without intermediate steps.
From July, to the already existing offer of the’OP Joinfruit (which includes excellent local and national seasonal produce, such as Cuneo IGP red apples, Cuneo IGP cherries, raspberries and blueberries, Rocca Imperiale IGP lemons and 100% cold-pressed seasonal fruit juices), is complemented by a careful selection of the best products including meat (Fassona Piemontese), traditional cured meats and ready-to-eat gastronomy from La Granda, a company that since 2004 has initiated a project to relaunch the Piedmontese beef breed, a Slow Food Presidium, and to revive the consumption of quality meat. Under the careful direction of Sergio Capaldo (long-time National Livestock Manager for Slow Food and Meat Quality Manager for the Eataly group), La Granda has created a new way of producing meat that puts man, animal and nature back at the centre of the food chain, returning social and economic value to the role of the farmer/farmer, giving the animal the chance to grow naturally and healthily and nature the chance to self-regulate, self-protect above and below ground level, all for the benefit of the meat consumer.

When the order has been placed in the locker, the recipient can pick it up independently at the Via Bonelli 9 in Cuneo - within 24 hours - using a QR code you will receive on the webapp.
